15 Jun Theory Design Unveils Preliminary Design for Seagate Development Group’s New Two-Story Office Building
Theory Design announced Vice President of Design Ruta Menaghlazi has completed the preliminary interior design for Seagate Development Group’s new two-story office building now under construction at Interstate 75 and Alico Road. Strategically located between Fort Myers and Naples, the 13,000 square-foot building fronts I-75 and features a scenic lake at the rear of the building.
Ruta Menaghlazi worked directly with Joe McHarris at Bonita Springs-based McHarris Planning & Design to create both the building’s exterior style and the interior spaces. The exterior conveys a timeless sense of strength combined with modern influences, both of which reflect Seagate’s core values and stature within the luxury homebuilding and development industry. The building has been designed to complement how people work today and how they will work in the future. Wireless technology, large presentation screens, and individual Surface Pro computers will allow employees to access and present information from anywhere in the building.
Once inside the building, an elegantly appointed reception area will feel like visitors are entering a high-end hotel property. The reception area will feature oversized 36 by 36-inch stone flooring, reverse soffit ceiling details with LED backlighting, and rich walnut wood details. In addition to the reception area, the first floor will include three conference rooms for formal client meetings and presentations as well as a large training room and office space for Seagate’s construction team members.
The second floor will host Seagate’s executive offices that will feature 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that will provide an abundance of natural light as well as views of the lake. A second-floor board room will showcase a reverse soffit ceiling detail with LED backlighting, a bar area, and an outdoor balcony overlooking the lake. A design studio, collaborative workspaces, and private offices will also be located on the second floor. Outfitted with large presentation screens and advanced technology, the collaborative spaces will allow Seagate’s team members to develop and share ideas, plans, and information while the private offices will provide them with places to concentrate in a way that will promote a more creative approach to their work. The collaborative spaces will also provide areas for informal client meetings and presentations.
Construction of Seagate’s new office building is expected to be completed in first quarter 2020.
Theory Design is also creating interiors for furnished Seagate Development Group models and end-user residences in Talis Park, Quail West, Esplanade Lake Club, Hill Tide Estates on Boca Grande, Windward Isle in North Naples, and Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club.
