23 Sep Seagate names design team for Sabbia model at Miromar Lakes
Seagate Development Group LLC has selected the design team for its Sabbia furnished model to be built in the Sardinia neighborhood at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, an award-winning community being developed by Miromar Development Corp. that is close to the Southwest Florida International Airport and numerous dining, shopping, and entertainment venues.
Miromar Lakes is the only community in Southwest Florida to offer waterfront living, beaches, and golf all at one location. Acknowledged as the No. 1 community in the United States, Miromar Lakes was named recipient of the National Association of Home Builders’ Gold Awards for Community of the Year and Best Clubhouse, the only Florida winner in history.
One of the designs in Seagate’s Beach Collection in Sardinia is the three-level, 4,782-square-foot under air Sabbia floor plan being designed by Rich Guzman at RG Designs. An additional 1,283 square feet off the ground floor’s lower foyer is designed to allow the purchaser the choice of incorporating a future recreation room, bedroom and full bath.
Freestyle Interiors’ lead designer Ruta Menaghlazi is creating the home’s interior design, and Outside Productions International Inc. is crafting the design for the outdoor living area, an elevated pool and spa, and landscaping.
Seagate expects to begin construction of the Sabbia model in fall and completion is anticipated in summer 2018.
Situated on a lakefront home site that offers long range water views, the Sabbia’s unique architectural design is reminiscent of modern coastal styles. The home’s main entry is flanked by two garage areas, one of which is 67 feet long.
The entry leads to the lower foyer and elevator as well as storage areas, the optional recreation room and bedroom, and a beach patio. Three guest suites with full baths, an immense great room with a sit-down bar, refrigerated wine storage and built-in media center, a kitchen with a catering pantry and island seating, a dining area, and a powder bath are all on the first living level. The stairwell features a two-story window that brings additional character to the architectural design. The great room opens to an outdoor living area with a fireplace, gas grill and refrigerator, a powder bath, dining and conversation areas, an elevated pool and spa, and a sundeck, all of which overlook Miromar’s signature lake views.
The second living level hosts the master suite, an additional guest suite with a private bath, a club room, morning bar and laundry room. The master bedroom opens to a private owner’s sundeck. Two walk-in closets, a separate water closet, a double vanity, a walk-in shower and a freestanding tub are all included in the master bath. A second sundeck and a bathroom with a walk-in closet and shower are off the club room.
The Sabbia residence is Seagate’s second model at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. The furnished Tortola model in the community’s Salerno 2 neighborhood is 50 percent finished and on schedule for completion early next year.
Priced at $2.595 million with furnishings, the Tortola will showcase an interior by Freestyle’s Menaghlazi and Lucie Simmons. The model’s Hamptons beach house inspired architectural style by RG Designs offers an open-concept floor plan with 3,892 square feet under air plus 1,058 square feet of outdoor living space. The home’s entry and foyer will lead to a grand room that fully opens to the outdoor living area. The grand room, gourmet island kitchen, and a dining area with a full wet bar will offer an elegant yet comfortable living space.
The plan includes a study, four bedrooms, four full baths, two half-baths and a three-car garage. The sitting area in the owner’s bedroom opens to the outdoors while two of the guest suites open to a private walled garden. The third guest bedroom serves as a VIP suite that opens to an outdoor living area with a fireplace, kitchen, dining and conversation areas, a pergola, and a pool and spa.
Menaghlazi and Simmons created a beach-style interior with global influences and edgy furniture pieces. Neutral background tones will be accented with teal, tan, rich browns, and black along with a fair amount of foliage. The flooring in the living areas will be natural medium-toned walnut hardwood. A 16-foot pop-up ceiling will contribute to the foyer’s open feeling. Three rectangular reverse soffit ceiling details with hidden LED lighting will establish the mood in the great room that opens to the outdoor living area.
Raised dimensional panels with a flat stock trim detail on the feature wall will serve as a background for a built-in that will combine an entertainment console, side tables, and a pair of ottomans. The adjoining kitchen will feature an island with a black base cabinet and antique white perimeter cabinetry, all of which will be topped by quartz counters. A three-tiered ceiling detail in the study will be finished with millwork trim and crown molding. Walk-in closets will flank the hallway leading to the master bedroom that will include a sitting area that opens to the lanai.
Seagate Development Group is also a preferred builder at Quail West.
Seagate is in the process of finalizing the design of its 5,000-square-foot Spring Hill grand estate model to be built in the North Naples community. The new residence is being designed by RG Designs. Plans call for the model to incorporate large living spaces, numerous gardens and water features, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a reception area, and a massive great room, island kitchen, wet bar, and a dining area with a walk-in wine room.
The preliminary plan also features a study/club room, two, two-and-a-half car garages and a landscaped outdoor living area with a year-round kitchen, fireplace, a custom pool with an island, multiple gathering areas, and numerous water features. Plans also call for an entry sequence that includes a courtyard garden, fountains and pools, all of which will be showcased with landscape lighting.
Seagate’s completed Pine Valley estate is open for viewing and purchase at Quail West priced at $4.295 million with furnishings.
