Construction Manager

Job Description

As a construction manager you will be managing all aspects of the filed related building processes for assigned projects and specific customer service responsibilities. Key job objectives are exceptional customer satisfaction, quality control, consistent and predictable job scheduling, timely management and quality completion of assigned construction/customer service responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

· Understand and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction (Raving fans)

· All aspects as an onsite construction and project site management

· Know and understand building plans (Customer specific), standard features, specifications and customer selected options

· Ensure Customer selections are installed as selected

· Manage and drive project scheduling though company scheduling software and approved process

· Deliver projects 100% complete, clean and free of defects, on time and within budget

· Manage inspection process and meet with building inspectors

· Conduct daily project walks to ensure schedule adherence and quality of vendor workmanship

· Strictly maintain daily activity log with photos and all job RFI’s.

· Ensure compliance with plans and specifications, obtain all required inspections and meet with building inspectors as required.

· Daily quality assurance and quality control – complete items/deficiencies prior to the next phase

· Approve vendor task completion and quality for payable process

· Ensure a “Disney” approach to job site cleanliness and curb appeal

· Site conflict resolution and problem solving for scheduling and various coordination efforts.

· Ensure all construction and warrant projects are completed to Seagate specifications, standards and scopes of work

· Conduct site meetings with project manager, owner (as approved), Interior designers, trade partners and suppliers

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external customers

· Attend client site meetings and maintain positive client relationships as needed

· Conduct / Participate in turnover orientations as required

· Complete and document warranty requests as per approved company process

· Strictly maintain OSHA standards for all work areas.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirement

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction, business or other related field and / or 5 Years of Construction experience

· Knowledge of the entire Construction/home building process

· Strong emphasis on quality of service and follow – up

· Strong customer orientation and ability to adapt and respond to different personality types

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers

· Strong relationship, self-organization, planning and problem-solving skills

· Formal OSHA training is preferred

Project Manager

Summary:

Estimates buy outs, oversees entire construction process from beginning to end, maintains scheduling, budgeting, and quality control by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Position Overview

This is a full-time role in reporting to our President. For this role, you’ll need to live in or near Fort Myers, Florida and be willing to travel as needed. Typical hours for this role are 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday; on occasion there is a need to work additional hours on evenings and weekends during a launch or other events throughout the year.

Mission

The mission of the Executive Assistant is to stay five steps ahead of their leader, tracking all of the administrative details, and clearing the path for him to make his greatest contribution to our business. The Executive Assistant will be a key asset to the President by anticipating needs at an exceptionally high level, allowing him to develop vision and strategy for all aspects of business at Seagate Development Group so that we can reach goals.

While repetitive tasks are certainly part of this position, the tasks assigned can vary from week to week based on the President’s needs and the needs of business.

The most important responsibility of the Executive Assistant is to ensure that administrative tasks and projects are completed with a high level of efficiency, confidentiality, accuracy, flexibility, and positivity in order to support the initiatives of the President.

Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant will have the following primary responsibilities:

· Meeting management including preparing agendas, printing financial reports, taking meeting minutes, notes and distributing action items

· At times, holding a meeting on behalf of the President

· Preparing presentations

· Drafting written communication

· Communicating on the President’s behalf both internally and externally

· Email management on behalf of the President

· Complex calendar management and scheduling (both personally and professionally) on behalf of the President

· Running errands and attending in person meetings multiple times per week

· Varying personal and professional administrative tasks including, but not limited to, booking appointments, research projects, coordinating travel, and ordering gifts/flowers, event coordination, etc.

Proficiencies

Quality Communication: The Executive Assistant must be an excellent communicator, in both written and oral form. This includes proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. This also includes being able to take a large amount of information and summarize it quickly both in writing and orally on a regular basis. You must also be able to track communication (and be very responsive) across multiple channels without losing any details. Those channels could include in-person meetings, virtual video calls, text messages and/or emails.

High Level of Discretion: Since our Executive Assistant will regularly work with confidential information, discretion and sensitivity regarding financial information is a must. Team Player: In addition to working directly with the President will also work with members of the Executive Team and several other high-level Department Managers.

They’ll need to be able to collaborate and communicate well with these team members, maintaining a can-do spirit and not complaining, making excuses, or gossiping.

· Communicate and work with clients throughout the interior design process

· Create finish schedules and keep organized records of project details

Job Description

Seagate Development Group, LLC is a luxury service residential, commercial real estate development, property management and construction company. We are currently seeking a professional, organized, and friendly HVAC & Maintenance Technician to join our property management division.

Duties:

· Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs to commercial HVAC equipment and general maintenance as necessary.

· This includes, but not limited to light plumbing, light electrical, replacing ceiling tiles etc.

· Keep current on all manufacturer’s products concerning their installation and/or repair

· Complete paperwork associated with the installation, maintenance and/or repair

· Identify, diagnose and repair systems ensuring Tenant satisfaction

· Work well and communicate with a team

· Maintain safety and cleanliness of the properties

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

· Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition
