Seagate Development Group announces the addition of Jean Amma as Partnership Controller. With more than 15 years of focused real estate and investment fund controller experience in her 20-plus-year accounting and finance career to date, she oversees accounting and all finance-related components that accompany the owners’ operational undertakings with external investors.

“As we create additional business segments and take on new ventures within each of those segments, our team and external stakeholders need Jean’s expertise to manage them as well as find new ways to make them prosper,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer & Partner of Seagate Development Group.

Jean joined the Florida division of Cincinnati-based North American Properties in 2004 and discovered her passion for real estate accounting, which led to an intentional focus on accounting and financial reporting for residential and commercial developers, institutions and private equity firms with a domestic and international presence. They include Bonita Grande Properties, Sylvan Road Capital and State Street Bank, which services publicly traded clients worldwide.

A native of Southwest Florida, Jean has a master’s degree in accounting and tax as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance – both from Florida Gulf Coast University.

“I am so excited to have made the move to Seagate, because it is such an asset to the development industry from a wide variety of perspectives. The influence Seagate has and the culture it creates makes you want to be part of it,” said Jean.
