Seagate Development Group is on track to complete Rice Insulation & Glass’ approximately 32,000-square-foot warehouse and 3,000-plus-square-foot office space by the second quarter of this year. This will be the first design-build facility at 40-acre Alico Trade Center – a Seagate-owned, Class-A business park at Three Oaks Parkway and Oriole Road, just north of Alico Road at I-75, in South Fort Myers.
Crews are nearly done with grading work around the building and along the roadway, with paving, concrete curbing, final grading, landscaping, as well as final inspections and cleaning to follow.
The office space for Rice Insulation’s sales and management teams will include a reception area, conference room, oversized offices with workstations, standard offices, training and break rooms, as well as closets and restrooms. The warehouse – topped with high-dock and grade-level doors – will feature insulation, glass, shower door and shelving materials. The parking lot will accommodate 100 vehicles.
“Rice Insulation is taking full advantage of a multi-tenant environment free of barriers,” said Matt Price, CEO & Partner at Seagate Development Group. “It is created by a one-stop design-build developer to generate greater economic value for Lee County, make for present and future company functionality, and of course, change the landscape of Southwest Florida.”
Rice Insulation & Glass is being interior designed by Studio+ and engineered by Quattrone & Associates.
