“We are honored to partner with Resurgence Brewing Company and Central Rock Gym on this exciting new venture to Fort Myers,” said Matt Price, CEO of Seagate Development Group. “This project embodies our commitment to creating dynamic and engaging spaces that enhance the community.”

“We love Fort Myers and wanted to bring the Resurgence Brewing Company experience to Southwest Florida,” said Jeff Ware, founder and owner of Resurgence Brewing Company. “We are looking forward to joining the thriving craft brewing community in Fort Myers.”

In addition to the brewery, there will be a full bar and a restaurant. Next door, there will be a rock-climbing facility. Central Rock Gym began 15 years ago in Worcester, Massachusetts, and has grown to 28 locations in six states, with two more locations on the way.

“This will be a fitness-oriented facility. Climbing is a social sport,” said Garrett Schwier, general manager of Central Rock Gym. “We are looking forward to growing the climbing community in Fort Myers.”

Central Rock Gym will offer 45-foot-tall walls for lead and top rope climbing, as well as 5,000-square-foot of bouldering. This will be the largest Central Rock Gym in Florida with 20,000-square-foot of climbing terrain.

Construction is set to begin at the end of October and the facility is scheduled to open by the end of summer 2025.
