FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov.1, 2022) — Seagate Development Group announces the addition of industry veteran Tim Byal as Vice President of Development. This is a newly added position for Seagate’s expanding enterprises. Tim is responsible for management of all planning and development activities for Seagate residential and commercial projects. Current active residential projects include Palisades, Revana Lakes and Seagate/Bell Mine.
“With his vast experience in real estate development and finance, Tim specializes in accelerating the success of growing companies. He has joined us at the best possible time,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Seagate Development Group.
Tim brings over 30 years of experience to Seagate as a well-versed real estate development and finance expert in the planning and development of many of SW Florida’s most iconic master planned communities. Most recently, Tim served as Vice President for Miromar Development, overseeing the business and development aspects of Miromar Lakes, Miromar Outlets, Miromar Design Center and University Village.
Tim began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with PWC in Southeast Florida and transitioned to the real estate industry, working for more than 12 years with WCI, formerly Westinghouse Communities Inc., where he was Division President. He also served as Senior Vice President for the Related Group prior to rejoining Miromar Development where he worked for a total of 16 years.
“I’m thrilled to join Seagate Development Group at such an important point in the growth of their family of brands,” said Tim Byal. “The depth of experience that Seagate has in executing best-in-class developments, in both commercial and residential spheres, made the decision to jump back into the game – after a very short stint at retirement – very easy.”
Tim holds an MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. He is a Florida licensed Certified Public Accountant and Real Estate Broker.
