Seagate Development Group hosted clients, partners and Lee County Economic Development during the ceremonial groundbreaking of 10-acre, 45,000-square-foot White Cap Construction Supply. This took place on August 6th at 16542 Oriole Road in Fort Myers.

After introductions and a champagne toast by Seagate’s commercial division, attendees gathered for photo opportunities and conversation about a fourth-quarter project completion.

Crews are currently erecting an 18,000-square-foot steel structure for the national building materials supplier’s steel fabrication building. It will include an overhead crane and steel-bending machines. The shell of the building is projected to be complete by the end of the month. In September, the Seagate team will begin vertical construction on the 32,990-square-foot warehouse as well as an open-area conference room, a break room, a showroom and other office spaces. Site utility work is also underway through October.

“We have one of the best teams in the industry working on this design-build – maintaining time, budget, communication and, ultimately, functionality and growth,” said Matt Price, CEO & Partner at Seagate Development Group. “With a site that aligns with White Cap’s vision as well as the county’s efforts, Seagate looks forward to pushing this project over the goal line.”

PDS Architecture is the architect on White Cap, while Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
