Seagate Development Group announced that a custom home at Esplanade Lake Club in Fort Myers will be complete next month. The community is east of I-75, just one minute from Gulf Coast Town Center and situated on a nearly 700-acre recreational lake. Seagate previously sold its three furnished model homes – Monaco, Genova and Santorini – with interiors by Theory Design and architectural design by R.G. Designs. The last five homesites there are currently under contract. Meanwhile, this custom home is one of eight Seagate custom homes in Esplanade Lake Club and one of two by Theory Design. R.G. Designs is also featuring architectural design in this nearly complete custom residence.
With the 3,299-square-foot-under-air Monaco floor plan, this open-concept home grants one direct access to all main living areas and has been customized to suite the homeowner’s lifestyle. The great room is just beyond the entry foyer, which leads to the outdoor living area. That luxurious space can also be accessed from the master suite and the dining area – which includes a wet bar. The custom kitchen is adjacent to the great room and has been extended to that dining area. This custom floor plan also includes a powder bath, a guest bath and a den/entertainment getaway area – which offers comfort lounge seating and access to the outdoor living space.
In the entry foyer, one will find custom-painted porcelain tiles. Upon entering the great room, this flooring shifts to 10-inch-wide oak wood – which is carried throughout the living space and installed in unique layers to define each area. A custom tray ceiling has the same oak as the floors, while a custom entertainment wall holds a television and an entertainment unit as well as a wall niche for custom artwork.
The custom kitchen has been extended for further display and storage of keepsakes as well as treasured travel collections. Clean-style, custom cabinets with a rich espresso wood finish, custom quartzite countertops and a full-height backsplash complement a custom oak-trimmed kitchen hood. The wet bar accommodates a built-in, pop-out-style coffee and espresso bar. All the plumbing fixtures are in a dark bronze finish, along with matching light fixtures and ceiling fans. There will be wood plantation shutters in the front of the home and automated solar shades across the large windows and slider in the back.
The outdoor living area – lined with natural stone pavers and waterline tile – has a tongue-in-groove tray ceiling with wood-toned nickel gap and large bronze ceiling fans. A built-in, custom kitchen is equipped with a grill and an outdoor beverage center. There is even a custom storage cabinet in the pool bath. The master bedroom – with large windows and French doors – will debut a custom-built platform bed. The headboard is attached to the wall, and additional storage can be found under the bed. Meanwhile, the walk-in closets in this home are completely customized with built-ins and organizational systems. The master bath accommodates dual vanities as well as a large walk-in shower with safety rails and fold-down seats, a walk-in tub and custom wood plantation shutters. The powder bath offers a custom cabinet as well as bronze sconces and fixtures.
In additional to this custom home, Seagate is currently constructing four custom homes – two with a Genova floor plan, one with a Santorini floor plan and another with a Monaco floor plan. Three other custom homes are in the works.
The Genova model is 3,892 square feet of living space over four bedrooms plus a study, four-and-two-half baths, and a three-car garage. The living area includes a great room, an island kitchen and a dining area. An oversized linear media wall in the great room unveils custom wood slats that were handmade, hand-stained and installed one by one. The island kitchen is complete with modern slab-door cabinetry; a honed-finished quartzite island top with quartz countertops at perimeter cabinetry; a stone-slab and full-height backsplash; a Bosch appliance package; a gas cooktop and double ovens. The dining area has low-back furniture that takes full advantage of the lakefront view as well as a wet bar that leads to an outdoor living area. This includes a modern stone-tile linear fireplace, stone-like-tile lanai flooring and a kitchen topped with a 36-inch grill and a vent hood, an under-counter refrigerator and an island bar with stool seating.
The outdoor living area can also be accessed from the sitting area in the master bedroom. The master bedroom presents wood flooring, multiple windows that bring in plenty of sunlight and maximize the lakefront view, and modern furnishings. The master suite features walk-in closets and a modern bath with dual vanities, warm wood-toned cabinets and marble countertops. A freestanding tub and an oversized shower are equipped with a rain head, a handheld shower and a linear drain. The shower also accommodates stone-like tile flooring and walls. Many of the features in the master suite are reflected in the guest bedrooms and baths via a natural, organic feel and a clean, simple look. The study can also be repurposed as a formal dining room for entertaining guests.
The Santorini model is 3,794 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms plus a study – which can be repurposed as a club room for lounging with family or entertaining guests – four-and-two-half baths, and a three-car garage. A great room presents a media wall that can be described as stepped drywall or a double-step niche area, reflecting the Santorini model’s ceiling detail. The island kitchen features a Bosch appliance package with a gas cooktop and double ovens as well as counter seating, modern slab-door cabinetry, white and concrete-like quartzite and quartz countertops, and a handmade-tile-inspired backsplash. A dining area – which, along with the great room and sitting area in the master suite, opens to an outdoor living area – can seat up to 10 people. The outdoor living area offers a full view of Lake Como as well as Modern Mediterranean stone-like lanai flooring, a 36-inch grill, an under-counter refrigerator and an island bar with stool seating.
The master suite includes separate water closets and vanities, walk-in closets, a freestanding tub and an oversized, walk-in shower with stone-like tile flooring and walls, spa-like cabinetry and marble countertops. The master bedroom brings in modern, simple furnishings, breezy drapery and simple white plantation shutters. These same fresh tones are carried into the guest bedrooms and baths. Additionally, Seagate is building custom, end-user residences at Hill Tide Estates, Talis Park and Quail West. At Hill Tide Estates, two model homes are under construction – with one of those model homes also under contract. Another model home is under contract and breaking ground soon, while a fourth model is in the works. At Quail West, Seagate recently completed a $5-million-plus grand estate model. In the Isola Bella neighborhood at Talis Park, two model homes are sold and under construction, one model home is under construction and under contract, and another model home is under contract and breaking ground next month. Seagate has also developed, built and sold 28 custom residences in Windward Isle.
