Seagate Development Group is scheduled to break ground on one of its 17 custom homes in Talis Park’s Isola Bella neighborhood next month. It will carry Seagate’s Olema model floor plan and, with that, 4,400-plus square feet of living space over four bedrooms and a flex space/study, four full and two half baths, plus a two-car garage as well as golf cart storage. This private residence will reflect the efforts and talent of the leading, full-service development company and its interior design firm, Theory Design, along with urban-like features in an open entertainment layout with coastal characteristics.
“Our team and clients have already determined how to join private, retreat-style spaces with details that reflect the overall tone of the lakeside enclave and its accompanying homes,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer & Partner of Seagate Development Group. “We’re channeling a unique storybook community with a modern coastal neighborhood in the most one-of-a-kind way, so everyone involved is eager to bring the results to fruition.”
The front entry will unfold in a chapter-esque way. It will start with a paver driveway, just parallel to a scenic walkway and gated, lushly landscaped courtyard that will ultimately lead to the first floor of the custom home.
Guests will be welcomed into the two-story foyer by a glass-enclosed, walk-in wine room under a staircase with wood newel posts, a stainless cable and wood rail, as well as an open landing. After previewing the main living spaces from the front door, homeowners and their company will meet the great room with a media wall below transom windows and a floating built-in. This space will open to the chef’s kitchen with an expansive island and top-of-the-line appliances, such as two dishwashers as well as a gas range, wall oven, microwave drawer, built-in coffee maker and wine cooler. This will be off the dining area with a dry bar, a combination pantry/laundry room with two additional refrigerators, and a scullery with a refrigerator drawer and ice maker – all contributing to the overall essence of entertainment and convenience.
The open-concept floor plan will be further confirmed by pocket sliding-glass doors that will allow everyone to effortlessly step into the outdoor living area – complete with amenities fit for a resort-style golf community. It will debut an outdoor kitchen with a built-in gas grill, along with a dining area for eight, pool bath and dog run. This lakeview space will conclude with a two-lane, bench- and fire-bowl-equipped swimming pool with water wall, a raised spa with spillover, as well as a sun shelf and fire table with cozy seating.
Upon taking the elevator or stairs to the second floor, homeowners and guests will relish a loft near a second laundry room as well as a master suite with a sitting area, access to a deck for top-tier outdoor views, two walk-in closets, dual vanities, a deep soaking tub with a lighted niche, a walk-in shower with a floating bench, and coastal-inspired designs and inserts for a total spa-like experience. The flex room/study – also off the sundeck – will finish this living level and present a built-in with desk extension and wet bar with wine cooler and beverage center.
“This custom home – much like the community it is planned for – will tell a story of the clients’ active lifestyle and indoor-outdoor living that Seagate and Theory Design are capturing in intriguing ways. Every living level and its outdoor spaces are like turning the page of that book or accommodating an extension of previous spaces within the residence,” Nulf said.
This home is made possible in part by architectural design by R.G. Designs.
