Seagate Development Group is developing and building a 40,000-square-foot warehouse and office space for California Closets. The leading, full-service development company will build this facility at Alico Trade Center – Seagate’s Class-A business park just north of Alico Road at I-75 in Fort Myers – in early 2023.
Adjacent to the Rice Insulation & Glass warehouse and office previously completed by Seagate, this single-story, pre-engineered metal building will sit on approximately four acres of land.
The facility will accommodate a nearly 36,000-square-foot warehouse/production area as well as a reception area, staff training and collaboration area, sample storage space, private offices, break room and an IT space.
“California Closets is a highly successful custom closet and organizational systems company that knows its success will only accumulate with expanded space in a central location,” said Matt Price, CEO & Partner of Seagate Development Group. “As we continue to fill each site at Alico Trade Center, Seagate is proud to have California Closets take part in a process to eliminate typical multi-tenant barriers and change the landscape of Southwest Florida.”
California Closets’ design-build will take approximately seven months to complete. Earth Tech Enterprises – a Seagate Development Group company – is the site contractor, while Southview Studios is the architect and Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
