Seagate Development Group will break ground on two custom homes at Esplanade Lake Club in Fort Myers next month. This announcement comes less than two weeks after crews completed another custom home in this community just east of I-75, one minute from Gulf Coast Town Center and situated on a nearly 700-acre recreational lake. Seagate previously sold its three furnished model homes – Monaco, Genova and Santorini – with interiors by Theory Design and architectural design by R.G. Designs. The last four homesites at Esplanade Lake Club are currently under contract, and additional custom homes are in the works.
The first of two custom homes breaking ground next month will carry the Monaco floor plan’s 3,200-plus square feet of living space. The single-story residence – with architectural design by R.G. Designs – accommodates three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, and a three-car garage. An entry foyer is just off an owner’s study and a laundry room as well as grants direct access to a grand room with coffered ceilings, as displayed in other main living spaces throughout the home. The grand room is adjacent to the island kitchen and the dining area. The master suite is connected to the master bath by his and her walk-in closets and presents a sitting area that leads to a covered patio. That exterior space is part of an outdoor living area that can also be accessed from the grand room, kitchen and dining area. A pantry, a mud room, two VIP bedrooms and baths, and a powder bath will complete the custom home – slated for completion in 2022.
The second custom home that is breaking ground will feature the single-story Calabria floor plan – with over 3,500 square feet of living space. It offers four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, and a three-car garage. The foyer – which is adjacent to the study and just beyond the exterior entry with stepping pods – takes homeowners and guests into the great room just off the island kitchen with a pantry and a dining area. All three lead to the outdoor living space with spectacular views of Lake Como – as all homes in Esplanade Lake Club include. Two walk-in closets are on the way to the master bath from the master suite – which also opens to the outdoor living space with an accompanying pool bath. A homeowner-requested yoga room is also off the grand foyer with views of a custom fountain/water feature. A laundry room and adjacent storage, a mud room with an adjoining alcove, three guest bedrooms and baths – one of which will debut a shower in lieu of a tub – will complete the custom home, which is slated for completion in 2022. Theory Design is creating the interior, while R.G. Designs is conducting the architectural design.
Meanwhile, the custom home that was completed two weeks ago offers the Monaco floor plan and customizations that suit the homeowner’s lifestyle. The custom kitchen is adjacent to the great room and has been extended to that dining area. This custom floor plan also includes a powder bath, a guest bath and a den/entertainment getaway area – which offers comfort lounge seating and access to the outdoor living space.
In the entry foyer, one will find custom-painted porcelain tiles. Upon entering the great room, this flooring shifts to 10-inch-wide oak wood – which is carried throughout the living space and installed in unique layers to define each area. A custom tray ceiling has the same oak as the floors, while a custom entertainment wall holds a television and an entertainment unit as well as a wall niche for custom artwork.
The custom kitchen has been extended for further display and storage of keepsakes as well as treasured travel collections. Clean-style, custom cabinets with a rich espresso wood finish, custom quartzite countertops and a full-height backsplash complement a custom oak-trimmed kitchen hood. The wet bar accommodates a built-in, pop-out-style coffee and espresso bar. All the plumbing fixtures are in a dark bronze finish, along with matching light fixtures and ceiling fans. There are wood plantation shutters in the front of the home and automated solar shades across the large windows and slider in the back.
The outdoor living area – lined with natural stone pavers and waterline tile – has a tongue-in-groove tray ceiling with wood-toned nickel gap and large bronze ceiling fans. A built-in, custom kitchen is equipped with a grill and an outdoor beverage center. There is even a custom storage cabinet in the pool bath. The master bedroom – with large windows and French doors – debuts a custom-built platform bed. The headboard is attached to the wall, and additional storage can be found under the bed. Meanwhile, the walk-in closets in this home are completely customized with built-ins and organizational systems. The master bath accommodates dual vanities as well as a large walk-in shower with safety rails and fold-down seats, a walk-in tub and custom wood plantation shutters. The powder bath offers a custom cabinet as well as bronze sconces and fixtures. Theory Design created the interior, while R.G. Designs conducted the architectural design.
