29 Sep Seagate Begins Vertical Construction on White Cap Warehouse
Seagate Development Group has completed the shell of White Cap Construction Supply’s steel fabrication building and begun vertical construction on the national building materials supplier’s warehouse. This is part of a 10-acre, 45,000-square-foot facility at 16542 Oriole Road – off Alico Road – in Fort Myers.
The steel fabrication building includes an 18,000-square-foot steel structure, an overhead crane and steel-bending machines. Meanwhile, the 32,990-square-foot warehouse is coupled with an open-area conference room, a break room, a showroom and office spaces. Crews are building these components as they conduct site utility work – which includes a lift station; water, sewer and fire lines; and drainage – as well as start on asphalt in the parking lot.
“White Cap is just as eager to access their design-build as we are to complete it,” said Matt Price, CEO & Partner at Seagate Development Group. “By the fourth quarter of 2021, they will be in a location always intended for region-wide industrial growth. The team will enjoy direct access to I-75 and plenty of space to do what they do best.”
PDS Architecture is the architect on White Cap, while Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
