Acknowledged as one of Quail West’s leading preferred builders of grand estate residences, Seagate Development Group LLC is continuing to expand its presence within the North Naples community. Its Oakmont model and Calusa model sold within a two-week period in March of this year and its 5,727-square-foot Pine Valley estate designed by Stofft Cooney Architects is currently open for viewing and purchase at Quail West.
Seagate will start construction of its 5,000-square-foot Spring Hill furnished grand estate model at Quail West in November. The new residence’s architecture is being designed by Rich Guzman at RG Designs. Freestyle Interiors’ lead designer Ruta Menaghlazi is creating the home’s interior design, and Outside Productions, Inc. is crafting the design for the outdoor living area, pool and spa, and landscaping. Construction is expected to be completed by late fall 2018.
Seagate’s completed Pine Valley grand estate model showcases an interior by Freestyle Interiors. The floor plan includes a great room that opens to a landscaped outdoor living area with a custom pool and spa, a conversation area with a fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen and dining area. A detached one-bedroom casita with a private bathroom is adjacent to the pool.
The plan also features a double-island kitchen, a club room with a media area, a bar with a window that opens to the outdoor living area, a walk-in wine room, and a lounge area. One of the two guest bedrooms serves as a VIP suite and opens to a private terrace and garden. A gallery hallway includes floor to ceiling windows with a cut-out for a desk overlooking a garden. A sitting area in the master bedroom offers views of another garden. The plan also includes a four-car garage. Seagate’s Pine Valley grand estate is priced at $4.295 million with furnishings.
The interior design throughout the Pine Valley presents angular clean-line ceiling details with minimal crown molding. Modern details are tempered with touches of classic styling for a setting of timeless grace. The color palette incorporates deep coppers and terracotta blended with pales blues, espressos, and some French gray against a background of soft creamy wall tones. The main flooring material is a light gray wire-brushed oak.
The foyer is bright with floor-to-ceiling windows on either side that visually blend the indoors and outdoors. An artful flooring design fashioned of triangular mosaic tiles in warm taupe makes an eye-catching statement. The foyer flows into a great room with pocketing sliders that open to the outdoor living area and pool. The feature wall showcases a built-in media center in a dark espresso finish. A light linen sectional sofa with an incorporated chaise lounge is paired with two similarly upholstered accent chairs with woven raffia backs and walnut frames. A dark walnut cocktail table cube provides storage space. A console table is featured behind the sofa.
The club room is a casual gathering area that includes a walk-in wine room and an indoor-outdoor bar. One corner is devoted to television viewing with a transitional console finished in a walnut tone and a sectional sofa. A wall of glass separates the media area and the wine room, affording views of the horizontal bottle display set against a walnut background. The wet bar features counter height seating that faces the outdoor living area with windows that open to unite the two spaces. Walnut and espresso wood detailing on the walls adds character.
In the dining area, a rectangular table in dark walnut seats eight. The walnut chairs feature upholstered backs and seats while a buffet credenza in the same deep finish provides the foundation for sconces and a mirror. A chandelier is suspended from the ceiling where a reverse soffit detail provides cove lighting.
The kitchen features dark espresso cabinetry on the island base with a lighter finish on the perimeter cabinetry where an impressive range hood also commands attention. Natural stone counter tops are featured across all surfaces. This generous space flows into a breakfast nook with windows overlooking the pool area.
A hallway with tall windows along one side leads from the kitchen to the guest suites. The windows provide a view of a garden and flood the hallway with natural light. Set into a window nook, a custom walnut desk provides a work space framed by glass on three sides.
Two guest suites offer beauty and privacy, one with views onto a landscaped garden area and the other, a VIP suite with its own private terrace. In the detached casita, the design includes a modern bed with a headboard, side rails, and footboard in a natural woven finish. The walnut nightstands and dresser also display modern flair while easy chairs provide relaxed seating. In the bathroom, a stone mosaic of marble and travertine in white and chocolate tones embodies the aura of a spa shower.
The massive outdoor living area includes a kitchen and dining space and two lounging areas. The kitchen features a grill with a freestanding hood and an under-counter refrigerator and icemaker with cabinetry in NatureKast. The grill wall is tiled up to the ceiling. All counter surfaces are in granite, including the L-shaped bar. A dining table accommodates 10 to 12 people. Off the great room, a mantel-less fireplace clad in floor to ceiling silver travertine provides the focus for a large conversation area with an oversized sectional sofa, easy chairs and a square coffee table. The furniture presents a restoration hardware look.
A hallway past the club room leads to the master bedroom where a fully upholstered bed in light linen is accompanied by decorative walnut nightstands with wrought-iron legs that convey an industrial flare. An ultra-modern linear walnut dresser adds to the chic appeal. A sitting area by windows overlooking gardens features two upholstered lounge chairs in terracotta tones.
The flooring in the master bath transitions from light oak to off-white honed marble. The vanity cabinetry is in a walnut tone to contrast with white marble counter tops. Adjacent to a freestanding tub, the shower showcases white marble and taupe-colored limestone. Decorative grasscloth adds dimension and texture to the walls.
Plans call for Seagate’s new Spring Hill model to incorporate large living spaces, numerous gardens and water features, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a reception area, and a massive great room, island kitchen, wet bar, and a dining area with a walk-in wine room. The preliminary plan also features a study/club room, two two-and-a-half car garages and a landscaped outdoor living area with a year-round kitchen, fireplace, a custom pool with an island, multiple gathering areas, and numerous water features. Plans also call for an entry sequence that includes a courtyard garden, fountains, and pools, all of which will be showcased with dramatic landscape lighting. The approach will lead to the home’s primary entry that will include a foyer with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that will provide views of the garden and water features.
