Seagate Development Group is making significant progress on Scotlynn USA Division Inc.’s North American corporate headquarters. It is all taking place at 9597 Gulf Research Lane in Fort Myers.

Crews have started the first lift of asphalt and curbing for the parking lot area as well as prepared the exterior of the building for painting. Inside, the team completed the drywall on the first floor as well as painted right behind it. The finishes on the second and third floors are scheduled for completion a few weeks after the finishes on the first floor.

These updates come just seven months after the leading commercial development company broke ground on the 60,000-square-foot, class-A multinational transportation and logistics facility.

“Many businesses are making long-term commitments to the Southwest Florida marketplace. Scotlynn is the perfect example of that commitment, particularly to the design-build process – otherwise known as the lifeblood of Seagate,” said Matt Price,

CEO & Partner at Seagate Development Group. “This building will not only represent Scotlynn’s overall company growth, but a move in the right direction for the regional landscape.”

“Given the scarcity of skilled labor and building supplies in our market, I am impressed with Seagate’s progress for what will likely be a great building being completed ahead of schedule,” said Ryan D. Carter, Executive Vice President of Scotlynn Transport LLC and Scotlynn USA Division Inc.

The eight-acre corporate office will be occupied by 350 management and operations team members over the next three years, including over 100 new employees. They will work in a contemporary, industrial-type space and have full access to a gym, basketball court, cafeteria, walking track, an indoor/outdoor recreational space and eating area.

All site work is projected to be complete by mid-May. The project is slated for completion in July. For more information and frequent updates, visit SeagateDevelopmentGroup.com.
