The Seagate Development Group announced its 5,727-square-foot Pine Valley furnished estate model at Quail West is open for viewing and purchase.
Designed by Stofft Cooney Architects, the Pine Valley showcases an interior design by Freestyle Interiors. The floor plan includes a great room that opens to a landscaped outdoor living area with a custom pool and spa, a conversation area with a fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen with a dining area ideal for outdoor entertaining. A detached one-bedroom casita with a private bathroom is next to the pool.
The plan also features a clubroom with a media area, a bar with a window that opens to the outdoor living area, a walk-in wine room and a lounge. One of the two guest bedrooms serves as a VIP suite and opens to a private terrace and garden. A double-island kitchen will satisfy the most discriminating gourmet. A gallery hallway includes an expanse of floor-to-ceiling windows with a cut-out for a desk overlooking a large garden. A sitting area in the master bedroom offers views of yet another garden. The plan also includes a four-car garage. Seagate’s Pine Valley estate is priced at $4.3 million with furnishings.
Throughout the home, the interior design presents angular clean-line ceiling details with minimal crown molding. Modern details are tempered with touches of classic styling for a setting of timeless grace. The color palette incorporates deep coppers and terracotta blended with pale blues, espressos and some French gray against a background of soft, creamy wall tones. The main flooring material is a light gray wire-brushed oak.
The foyer is airy and bright with floor-to-ceiling windows on each side that immediately visually blend the indoors and outdoors, a theme that continues throughout the home. The flooring design is fashioned of triangular mosaic tiles in warm taupe.
The foyer flows into a great room with pocketing sliders that open to the magnificent outdoor living area and pool. The feature wall showcases a handsome built-in media center in a dark espresso finish. A sectional sofa upholstered in light linen with an incorporated chaise lounge is paired with two similarly upholstered accent chairs with woven raffia backs and walnut frames. In the center a dark walnut cocktail table cube provides storage space. A console table is featured behind the sofa.
The club room functions as a separate, casual gathering area that includes a walk-in wine room and an indoor-outdoor bar. One corner is devoted to television viewing with a transitional console finished in a walnut tone and a comfy sectional sofa. A wall of glass separates the media area and the wine room, affording views of the horizontal bottle display set against a walnut background. The extensive wet bar features counter height seating that faces the outdoor living area with windows that open to unite the two spaces. Wood detailing on the walls, in walnut and espresso tones, adds character.
In the dining area, a rectangular table in dark walnut seats eight. The walnut chairs feature upholstered backs and seats while a buffet credenza in the same deep finish provides the foundation for stylish sconces. A chandelier is suspended where a reverse soffit detail provides cove lighting.
The kitchen features dark espresso cabinetry on the island base with a lighter finish on the perimeter cabinetry where an impressive range hood also commands attention. Countertops in natural stone are streamlined across all surfaces. This generous space flows into a wide breakfast nook with expansive windows overlooking the pool area.
A bright hallway with tall windows along one side leads from the kitchen to the guest suites. The windows provide a view of a lushly landscaped garden and flood the hallway with natural light. Set into a unique window nook, a custom walnut desk provides a workspace framed by glass on three sides to create the sense of being wrapped in the garden.
Two guest suites offer beauty and privacy, one with views onto a landscaped garden area and the other, a VIP suite with its own private terrace. A walkway connects these gardens to the rest of the outdoor living area.
In the detached casita, the design includes a modern bed with a headboard, side rails and footboard in a natural woven finish. The walnut nightstands and dresser also display modern flair while easy chairs provide relaxed seating. In the bathroom a stone mosaic of marble and travertine in white and chocolate tones embodies the aura of a spa shower.
The massive outdoor living area includes a kitchen and dining space as well as two distinct lounging areas. The kitchen features a grill with a free-standing hood, and an under counter refrigerator and icemaker with cabinetry executed in NatureKast material. Behind the grill, the wall is tiled up to the ceiling. All counter surfaces are granite, including the L-shaped bar. A dining table accommodates 10 to 12. Off the great room, a sleek mantel-less fireplace clad in floor-to-ceiling silver travertine provides the focus for a large conversation area with an oversized sectional sofa, easy chairs and a square coffee table. The furniture presents a restoration hardware look.
A hallway past the club room leads to the master bedroom where a fully upholstered bed in light linen is accompanied by decorative walnut nightstands with wrought iron legs that convey an industrial flare. An ultramodern linear walnut dresser adds to the chic appeal. A sitting area by windows overlooking beautiful gardens features two upholstered lounge chairs in terracotta tones.
The flooring in the master bath transitions from light oak to off-white honed marble. The vanity cabinetry is executed in a walnut tone to contrast with sleek white marble countertops. Next to a free-standing tub, the shower showcases white marble and taupe-colored limestone. Decorative grasscloth adds dimension and texture to the walls.
Seagate also announced it is designing an approximately 5,000-square-foot grand estate furnished model residence to be built at Quail West. The new residence is being designed by RG Designs. Plans call for the model to incorporate large living spaces, numerous gardens and water features, four bedrooms, 4½ , a reception area, and a massive great room, island kitchen, wet bar, and a dining area with a walk-in wine room.
The preliminary plan also features a study/clubroom, two 2½-car garages and a lushly landscaped outdoor living area with a year-round kitchen, fireplace, a custom pool with an island, multiple gathering areas, and numerous water features. Plans also call for a stunning entry sequence that includes a courtyard garden, fountains and pools, all of which will be showcased with landscape lighting. The approach will lead to the home’s primary entry that will include a foyer with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that will provide views of the garden and water features.
